New York County Supreme Court Justice Joel Cohen heard arguments on Tuesday for a preliminary injunction in Auffray v. Columbia, a lawsuit brought by attorney Toby Golick challenging the closure of Columbia’s campus to the public.

Dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered at the City College of New York Thursday to oppose New York Gov. Kathy Hochul. Hochul had been slated to hold a press conference at the school, but cancelled her appearance hours before, citing security concerns.
