Dean of Undergraduate Admissions Jessica Marinaccio mailed decision letters to the Class of 2021 on Thursday.

The combined admit rate for Columbia College and the School of Engineering and Applied Science was 5.8 percent this year, dropping slightly from 6 percent last year.

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions received 37,389 applications for the Class of 2021, marking a 3 percent increase from last year. It is the largest applicant pool in Columbia’s history.

Decisions were mailed to applicants at 3 p.m. on College Walk.
