Are you a Columbia student seeking off-campus housing for any part of the upcoming 2020-21 school year? Are you planning on living at home for part of or all of the school year?

To measure potential community impact, Spectator is reporting on the expected surge in off-campus housing that will occur as a result of Columbia Housing’s 2020-2021 plan. With the University’s 60 percent capacity housing policies, students across class years and schools are turning to off-campus housing as an alternative living situation. We hope to hear from you about the considerations that have gone into your housing decisions—whether you will be living on-campus, off-campus, or at home—to gain a better understanding of how this shift will transform both the local and campus communities.
