As mediation continues, SWC-UAW and Columbia are cautiously optimistic about reaching a contract

The University and the SWC-UAW have taken part in three mediation sessions with third-party mediator Kevin Flanigan. They hope to begin finding more common ground on articles regarding arbitration and dental care coverage.
