Columbia announces University Senate review committee, hires outside consultant to review trustee processes

Two members of the University Senate, Andrew Marks and Henning Schulzrinne, will serve on the senate review committee.

The review will examine peer institutions’ senates, the relationship the senate has with the trustees, possible term limits on senators and committee chairs, and recommendations to “encourage broader participation in the Senate.”
