Deans accuse University Senate of overreach with restrictions on nontenured faculty hiring

The University Senate resolved that most schools could not hire into its newly approved professor of instruction track, which it expects Columbia to implement by August, until they consult with the senate to determine new caps on nontenured faculty hiring.
