Judge dismisses lawsuit by trapped Columbia workers against Hamilton Hall protesters

The judge ruled that the two facilities workers trapped during the April 2024 occupation failed to show protesters conspired to deprive Jewish people or their supporters of their civil rights.

Dozens of pro-Palestinian protesters occupied Hamilton Hall on April 30, 2024, locking doors with zip ties and trapping two facilities workers inside for around 10 minutes.
