Federal court reverses ruling that freed Mohsen Mahdawi, GS ’25, SIPA ’27, from ICE custody

The Tuesday ruling found that the decision to release Mahdawi from detention in April 2025 lacked jurisdiction and represents a significant loss in his fight against deportation.
