Twenty-four Columbia College seniors have been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the college announced on Tuesday afternoon.

One of the most prestigious academic societies for undergraduate students, Phi Beta Kappa honors 10 percent of the college’s graduating class. Recipients are chosen based on academic achievements and faculty recommendations. Two percent of the class is inducted in the fall, while the remaining 8 percent will be inducted in the spring.
