SEAS professor Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic awarded L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Award

Vunjak-Novakovic, who pioneered research in human tissue engineering, is one of five women to receive the 100,000 euro award this year.

Vunjak-Novakovic received the prize on June 11 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, joining 142 international laureates who have been presented the honor in the 28 years since its establishment.
