Columbia endowment grows to $17.9 billion, trailing Ivy League peers

The University’s operating surplus more than doubled to $259.2 million as it implemented cost cutting measures in the face of federal research funding cuts.

Overall, the Ivy League had an average 22.1 percent return this year, compared to an 11.7 percent return in 2025.
